    • citizens are stereotyped as being "soft" law-abiding people that are disconnected from the world outside cities, and wrongly thinking that they are the most important beings on the planet. many citizens are from other regions, but immigrate to the cities. the criminal underworld of cities is full of gangs and freelance thugs and burglars. most city criminals are considered the best in the world inside their city, but are far outclassed by even the worst mercenaries and thieves.

  3. Elves
    • Tan-to-dark skin color and varied gender
    • live in forests and jungles
    • south american accent
    • Elves take their name from earth-1's tales of magical forest dwellers, but that is where the similarities end. there are two main types of elves: forest dwellers and jungle dwellers. the only difference between the two is that jungle dwellers are known to be more physically sensitive than forest dwellers. elves are known for being naturally stealthy and having a very good sense of direction wherever they are. elves also are known for having various patterns tattooed onto their bodies. the amount, style, and location of these tattoos are decided by a mixture of the individual's choice, the tribe said individual belongs to, and said individual's occupation. the most recognizable tattoos are those from the na'shil tribe, whose members have leaf and vine patterns tattooed on their face, mainly concentrated around the eyes. elves do not have pointy ears.

    • Scrappers mainly live in groups known as mechanic's villages scattered in and around the badlands. each village is set up around a central scrap pile or junk heap used as both a waste pile and a source of parts. villages also require a steady inflow of various ores and mechanical fluids. scrappers are fiercely loyal to one another, and side with the gatekeeper organization because the gatekeepers have protect entire villages from raiders and rouge mechs on a daily basis. rouge mechanical beings created by mechanics are banished to the badlands and usually end up joining a raider tribe or going insane.

  5. Badlanders
    • varied skin color and gender
    • live in badlands

    • Badlanders are people that have to survive in a devastated wasteland of an old battlefield filled with rouge mechanical nightmares, mutated creatures, pools of toxic waste exposed to the surface, and cutthroat raiders everywhere. badlanders are known as being the toughest people on the planet, as their daily life would cause even the toughest veteran mercenaries to wet their pants and run crying home to their mommies.

  7. Atlantians
    • pale blue skin color and varied gender

    • atlantians are quite possibly the strangest human subspecies. they have adapted to underwater life by gaining gills on their necks as well as increased finger and toe webbing, pale blue skin, claw-like nails, and small fins on their lower arms and calves. even though the atlantians have gills, it is stressful to use them, so their city-domes use hydrostatic airlocks to keep the water out and use water divider systems to pull the oxygen from the surrounding water.
    • main occupations: diver, explorer, guide, spy, mercenary, inventor
